Queensland Academy of Sport
The Queensland Academy of Sport is partnering with 9 Paralympic National Sport Organisations in one of the world’s largest Para-Sport talent identification programs.
Our Paralympic Talent Search events are focused on giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your potential for high performance within any of our partner sports. As part of the program, you will be able to meet and chat with some of Australia’s world-class Paralympic athletes and coaches, while gaining a provisional classification.
In partnership with the Sports, we will be holding a number of YouFor2032 Paralympic Talent Search events throughout the year.
In 2024 we will be hosting four Paralympic Talent Search events, in March (Brisbane), June (Gold Coast), September (Sunshine Coast) and November (TBC).
For more information and to register, please apply online and more information will be provided soon. Spaces are strictly limited so get in quick!
Please note that each sport and event has specific impairment requirements and eligibility criteria. Unfortunately, that means that not everyone will ultimately be eligible to compete in every sport and some athletes may not be eligible for the YouFor2032 program. This will be discussed at the YouFor2032 Paralympic Talent Search events in more detail. All aspiring athletes are invited to register.
For more information about Paralympic classification and sport eligibility criteria, please visit the Paralympics Australia website.
We will be holding a number of YouFor2032 Paralympic Talent Search events throughout 2024. If you are interested in trying any of our Paralympic sports, please register online.
Our Paralympic Talent Search events are held over three sessions, allowing athletes the best opportunity to demonstrate their potential across a range of capacities and activities. Athletes should be available to attend all three dates to ensure the best possible chance of being invited to the next stage.
Please note that each sport and event has specific impairment requirements, so not everyone will be eligible for high performance in every sport. For more information about classifications and how they impact your sporting eligibility, please visit the Paralympics Australia website.
